What Can I Expect at Wrapped In Romance?

The day begins at The Emerald at 10 AM for our VIP Reader ticket holders with early entry to the signing hall and market. Doors open for Reader ticket holders at 1 1AM and will be open until 4 PM.

In the signing and market hall we will have all our vendors (and a map of course!) for you to wander and shop. As needed, we will be wristbanding authors to keep lines short and traffic moving.

Throughout the day, there will be raffles and giveaways from Thirst Books and our small business market vendors, and the bar will be open for beverage purchases!

FAQs

Is this a Christmas/Holiday book signing?

No, while holiday romances are what sparked the idea this signing is a celebration of all romances, wintery, or not!

I've heard Milwaukee is cold in the winter?

It can be! But it's been milder these last few Decembers! Bring a jacket and a hat, and then when you arrive our venue (and the books!) will be nice and warm!

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable but are transferrable. Reach out to events@thirstbooks.com for help.

Are there going to be hotel blocks or travel information shared?

Yes! We will have more info coming soon.

What is your AI policy?

We have a zero tolerance AI policy for all our vendors and authors.

When will the full author list be available?

We expect it to be available by mid-October once we’ve gone through all applications. We’ll accept on a rolling basis until we’re filled.

How big is the space?

The venue is 11,000 sq ft, so plenty of room to breathe. There will be space for up to 75 authors & vendors and we’ll be capping VIP tickets at 100, and Reader tickets at 300.

Will authors have a private space, assistants, food, or breaks?

Yes! There is an author green room available and food will be supplied from Thirst and sponsor partners. Breaks are available at an author’s discretion, we’ll have volunteers and your assistants to moderate any lines or watch your table. Authors and vendors are allowed to bring 1 assistant

We won’t be able to guarantee we can provide volunteer assistants.

If I’ve already heard from you do I need to apply again?

Nope! If we’ve already chatted via email about Wrapped In Romance, no need to fill out the form again.
